How long does the course last?
Workshops start at 10am and finish at 4pm.
I've never made any jewellery before, what can I do?
Don't worry, most people who take part have had no prior jewellery experience. With two tutors to help you, we'll cover the basics first and guide you through each process. If you're a beginner the key to success is choosing a simple design for your project.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself! All tools and metal are provided to enable you to make your piece of jewellery. If you wish to make more than one piece, supplies can be purchased on the day.
Can my piece of silver jewellery be hallmarked?
Yes, although you won't be able to take it home with you on the day. Hallmarking is not included in the price as most students don't request it.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, gift tokens are available from Marion Woodburn Jewellery and can be used to purchase jewellery or a Made at Marion's workshop course.
I'm coming to Ireland this summer and would love to take part in your workshop, can you suggest somewhere to stay?
There's lots of great accomodation providers nearby. Galgorm Resort and Spa is perfect for a relaxing break. It's just 3mins by car up the road from the workshop and is the setting for lunch on the day, Gillies at Galgorm.
